Remake is seeking a friendly, pro-active Reuse Hub Assistant to join our retail team to support our plans to extend the opening hours of our Reuse Hub in Crieff.

Reuse Hub Assistant

Rate: £19,036 per annum / £11.44 per hour
32 hours per week
Based @ Remake Scotland, Unit 2, Muthill Road, Crieff

We are seeking a friendly and pro-active individual to join our retail team. We are offering a full-time (32 hours per week) role to support our plans to extend the opening hours of our Reuse Hub. The right candidate will have a commitment to our environmental ethos, the ability to manage an active and varied workload and be an excellent team player.

Our volunteers are a vital part of the Remake family. Staff and volunteers work together to deliver a service to the community through our Scrapstore and community projects in a dynamic, fun and inclusive environment. We have a number of different roles including supporting the store, driving the delivery van, marketing, working from home and many more.

Volunteering Opportunities

Electrical Repair Volunteers

Remake are looking for experienced electrical volunteers to help with our monthly Repair Café.

We are looking for volunteers with a competent electrical maintenance skill set and an ability to teach safe electrical repair skills to others. Volunteers will be required to assist Repair Café attendees with general electrical items and repairs and also demonstrate the safe use of tools throughout workshops.

Textile Repair Volunteer

Remake are also looking for a textile repair volunteer to help with our monthly Repair Café.

Responsibilities for this volunteering role include sharing repairing skills with members of the community, making repairs to textile items brought to the Repair Café by members of the community and speaking with the community about the benefits and importance of reuse and repair.
