In the last few months, there have been some exciting new projects at Remake! With new ventures popping up both in and outside of our Reuse Hub, we’re excited to be interacting with our community more often and working with a variety of different groups.
On a wet and rainy day in deepest February a few staff and Volunteers were having a natter during our ‘tea break’ and it was agreed that it would be great to go on an Remake outing together.
Before Christmas, we asked our volunteers and young adults on work placements, “What would you like Remake to do for the community in 2021?”.
This month’s blog features a Q&A with Pam who is our longest serving volunteer. Pam leads our fabric reuse section, creating order and making sure stock is displayed beautifully. It’s a big task and we are every grateful for her support over the years.
As we get ready to open up again, Gemma tells us how volunteering at Remake has helped her meet new people and learn new things.
