Remake is a community reuse charity run by volunteers and staff based in Crieff. Our purpose is to promote the reuse of materials for the benefit of our community. Remake is a local solution to a global problem.
Remake was founded in 2011 and became a charity in 2013 and currently runs a number of projects from our base at the Crieff Visitor Centre in Perthshire.
Remake runs a number of projects from the premises at the Crieff Visitor Centre. Projects include Scrapstore and Homewares, Remake Futures, a Volunteer programme and the Remake Community Reuse & Repair project.
We are a community reuse charity based in Crieff with the best second hand store ever. From crafting to fabric to homewares, you can find an array of incredible items all saved from landfill and checked to Revolve standards.

Remake Scotland is certified by Revolve, the national re-use quality standard offered by Zero Waste Scotland. Revolve is Scotland’s national re-use quality certification aiming to increase re-use by improving professionalism, customer experience and visibility of re-use organisations.

Our Remake Futures project runs from 2018-2021 and is supported by SSE, Impact, Community Jobs Scotland, Ellis Campbell Foundation, Cashback for Communities, Souter Charitable Trust, Scottish Community Alliance, Ettrick Charitable Trust & the generous Remake volunteers.
Promoting environmental sustainability across Perth & Kinross while providing reuse & repair learning and social opportunities for people in Crieff & surrounding areas.
Our Remake Community Reuse & Repair project runs from 2019-2022 and is supported by the National Lottery Community Fund, Leader and Perth & Kinross Council Community Investment Fund.

Our volunteers are a vital part of the Remake family. Staff and volunteers work together to deliver a service to the community through our scrapstore and community projects in a dynamic, fun and inclusive environment. We have a number of different roles including supporting the store, driving the delivery van, marketing, working from home and many more.
